AQS 22nd annual "Quilt Show & Contest" ,
April 26 - 29, 2006 Paducah, KY.
Quiltmakers : Myrl Tapungot, Emelda Ebueza, Nilda Dal, Luz
Macabata, Victor Joven, Lydia Lintao, Juliven Maagad, Virgie
Joven, Loloy Dal, Liza Layao, Flora Campos, Corazon Beronio,
Morris Abantao, Susan Zarate, Mary Tapungot. It took a total
of 12 months ot complete.
The "Myrtic Beauty 2"
Size 88 X 88 is an original design, incorporating elaborate
trapunto, using colored yarn, extensive embrodery and bead
work.
What's New: "Mystic Beauty" 2 was
originally done in trapunto. We have made an applique version
called
"Flor De Luna" which has also
been entered into a competition. It won the award for Embellishment
last October 2002, in the Pacific International Quilt Festival,
Santa Clara, Calif.
