I want to tell you a bit about this quilt. There was a
total of 19 people who worked on the quilt. They were not
all listed on the forms because there just wasn't enough room
for all of their names. We put the names of the people who
did the major amount of the work on this very special quilt.
Eryn is my granddaughter, and the poem below was written by
Eryn's father Mark.
With every line you can see how much she is loved and cherished
by him.
This year I am 65 years old, and it is my wish and prayer
to still be here in this world to celebrate the wedding of
this lovely child. -- Myrl
Le Mariage d' Eryn
A slow sun rises in the glowing east,
Spring is waning, letting go
Her day is come and the gathering
Swirls together like new butterflies
They blend in the glittering sunlight
Sharing this moment of magic
As nodding flowers reveal true colors
Never known by eyes before.
A Moment in time is framed, unforgettable
Beauty, and as the vows gently touch each other
In passing.
Her hand reaches out to his,
To start an endless dance.
