M. Deans Award Winning Quilts

All quilts are designed by Myrl Lehman-Tapungot and all work is done under her direct supervision. All of M. Deans items are "Hand Quilted" throughout to achieve that special look that can't be duplicated by machine. This is a long, intricate process, because we do some of the finest stitching in the world. However, for maximum strength and accurate alignment, all of our piecing is done by machine. We know all of the old designs and love them, but our specialty is one of a kind custom designs made especially for you. We will help you develop your idea into a treasured heirloom to be loved and handed down to the next generation.

If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the quilt you ordered, we will fix it, and if it can't be fixed, we will either replace it or cheerfully refund your money.

What we make:
Bed quilts, wall hangings, miniatures and lap size quilts. We also quilt tops, and make custom-made, original quilts according to your specifications and needs. The only limit is your imagination. Please contact us for more information.

Shipping:
We ship via Postal Mail and FEDEX. If you have other preferences, please let us know and we can arrange that.

Production time:
Depending on the intricacy of the design and the size of the stitches, we need more information on exactly what you want. All our quilts are quilted by hand; and a large bed quilt takes approximately 6 to 9 months to make.

Terms of payment:
We require a 50% deposit for orders, and the balance upon delivery.

Quilt Pricing: (Pls. note that all prices are in US dollars)
The price of each quilt reflect the amount of hand work involved. The list below is just to give you a point of reference and an idea of the price ranges.
- Wall hangings, and lap quilts range from $150-$550 for traditional (Patchwork & Applique)
- Trapunto wall hangings and lap quilts range from $200 to $750
- Queen size bed quilts with traditional patterns (Patchwork) range from $850 to $1900 depending upon the design and the intricacy of the quilting.
- Applique quilts cost approximately 25% more than Patchwork.
- We make Trapunto quilts in all sizes. A typical queen size ranges from $1400 to $2500 depending upon the design.

* Custom designs are difficult to price and could vary considerably depending upon the design, and degree of difficulty of the individual piece. We pride ourselves in producing some of the finest quilts available on the market today.
